Biodiversity:

All the products offered here are generated from renewable sources to aid biodiversity and help prevent any adverse effects to the environment that we have here in Devon.

It is because of our efforts to generate all our own products locally and as naturally as is possible that we can offer you completely organic materials to aid you with your gardening at home.

Our products:

Soil improver:

Available to buy direct from us is our organic soil improver. Produced as nature intended using a mixture of deciduous leaf matter, green plant material, grass clippings and wood chip composted slowly and naturally to create a completely organic pick me up for your soil that your plants will love! This can be delivered by the sack, Bulk bag or loose by pick up truck to your door.

Organic Mulch:

We sell organic mulch perfect for gardens in use. Delivered to your home for easy garden solutions.

Cost £2.00 per sack or £45.00 per bulk bag delivered. Minimum order for delivery 10 sacks.

Wood chip:

The organic wood chip is a direct by-product of our work at plantationgardening.co.uk which is created by feeding brush wood through a mechanical chipping machine. You can use our organic wood chip for a variety of uses in the garden such as to surface a footpath, a decorative mulch on beds and borders or for children's play areas. This can also be delivered in sacks, bulk bags or pick up truck loads.

Large bark chip:

As with the wood chip described above ,this is a product ideal for children's play areas or foot paths and as a mulch but unlike the wood chip it will not change colour over time and has a longer shelf life before it starts to degrade and break down into the soil.

Organic liquid fertilizer:

As part of the composting program that we run at bigbagrecycling.co.uk we use red dendra worms. A direct by-product of this is a liquid feed which is drained off and bottled. Perfect for tubs and baskets! Please contact us for sale prices and quantity details.

Soft wood kindling:

The secret to a good strong burning fire that will keep your home “toastie warm” is to start it with one of our nets of soft wood kindling.

Again using what would otherwise be a waste product from local businesses in Devon, the staff at bigbagrecycling.co.uk cut to length and split soft wood timber into a convenient size, put into nets and dry to ensure that your fire gets the best possible start. Available in handy size nets.

Wood burning stove fuel packs:

Ideal for wood burning stoves our small soft wood pieces are about the same size as coal and will fuel your wood burner perfectly. Just add as much or as little as you need to keep your wood burner burning nice and hot.

Hard wood logs for burning:

When we process our timber after tree surgery or tree felling, we endeavour to waste nothing. As our commitment to the environment,we grade the timber, separate it and process the larger timber for firewood logs.

We can supply hard and soft wood logs depending on your preference or a mixture if you would like. The mixture usually consists of splits and rounds and can be supplied in sacks, bulk bags-(preferred quantity) and pick up truck loads.
